Letter from Lama Phuntsok (Daghpo Shedrup Ling), the monastic school of Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche in Kathmandu/Nepal
Am 31.12.2010 fand während des Kagyü-Mönlams in Bodhgaya/Indien das erste KHCP-Instituts-Meeting zwischen Ost und West statt. Es trafen sich jeweils 2 Leiter der Schulen/Klöster mit den KHCP-Ärzten. Lama Phunsok vertrat Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche´s Schule in Kathmandu und überreichte dem KHCP-Team diesen Brief. Inzwischen hat unser westliches Ärzte-Team dort die Arbeit übernommen und im März 2011 ein weiteres Medicalcamp durchgeführt.

Sept 2010: Donation of books for the schools in the Himalayas
The company Inlingua International AG in Bern/Switzerland sponsors our project - which supports some schools and monasteries in the Himalayan region, with books and CDs to teach English... In this way three schools from Darjeeling, Ladakh and Sikkim could benefit from this material and improve their program of study...

May 25- 31, 2010: Film presentation/information desk in Karma Guen and Stupa Benalmadena/Spain
There was a film presentation and an information desk...Again, we had a conversation of great importance with Shamar Rinpoche. He highlighted the importance of supporting Karmapa’s social activities, representing them and promoting them world wide. Rinpoche assigned major projects to the KHCP and thanked us for the successful work.

May 2010: The new water purification system has been installed and gives enough drinking water for the about 100 people at the school.

Annual Report 2009
Karmapa's project is already 4 years of age. This recent year was full of beneficial developments... Sherab Gyaltsen's monks and nuns as well as his monk school have been added to the agenda and we now take care of health care in 9 institutions in the Himalayas, comprising more than 600 Kagyu friends. On top of that, we run our annual medical camp in Bodhgaya during the Kagyu Monlam, attempting to help more than 3000 friends attending.

Febr. 2010: Khenpo-graduation at the Shedra Kalimpong/India
The Shedra, which was founded by Shamar Rinpoche, is by now attended by 124 Students. All examened 34 of them received their diploma by Shamar Rinpoche in a ceremony with Prof. Semper Dorje....
