Street Dog Care went to Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche´s monastery and school in Swayambhu to distribute the "My dog is my best friend" booklet to the young monks!... In addition, our booklet explains how to keep a dog happy and healthy, and the little monks showed keen interest in hearing all the stories and they loved colouring in the books.

In a conversation with Rinpoche, we gave a detailed report of the current KHCP-activity at Karmapa’s institutes in Asia. In the evening after Rinpoche’s teachings the KHCP gave a talk about HEALTHCARE – EDUCATION – INTERACTION. 190 friends attended the talk and the film viewing and we found new helpers...

Again, we had an info stall in Karma Guen. Many friends visited and we gave out information. That’s how we were joined by seven more doctors and further helpers for Karmapa’s project. Our most famous visitor at the info stall was Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche...

June 2011: Every year, the KHCP tries to set up specialised projects that help improve the healthcare situation in situ. This way Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche’s nuns in Kathmandu received a budget for the installation of a water treatment plant. Last winter they already received teachings on the importance of drinking water daily and its effect on the human body. The nuns sent us their pictures here.
