Restoration Project at Nunnery Rumtek - Karma Chokhor Dechen Ling
Dear friends, since 2006, the KHCP has been caring for the nunnery in Rumtek.
An earthquake some time ago damaged significant parts of the building. Normal life, such as cooking, eating together, and meditating, is severely restricted as a result. Our Swiss friends around Fabienne Berlinger have founded an initiative "Freundeskreis Rumtek Nonnen" and we have been working together since last year. Everything is coordinated with H.H. Gyalwa Karmapa and Jigme Rinpoche.
We will continue to report and sincerely ask you to donate for the intended purpose "Rumtek Nunnery Restoration".
