Oct, 2011: Physio research at Tharpa Choeling - Shangpa Rinpoche´s Nunnery and Buddhistic School in Muktinath, Mustang/Nepal
We conducted initial research to find out with what types of musculoskeletal conditions the nuns at Muktinath suffered , and how they would best benefit from physiotherapy treatment and training. The nuns were separated into pairs and interviewed each other, answering several questions about their conditions and how the pain affected their lives. They then were asked to write down the answers, and then discuss them within the larger group.
