KHCP information desk during Karmapa´s visit in Manchester
- Sunday, 8 July, Manchester: His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje arrived and He was welcomed to Kagyu Ling by Lama Jampa Thaye, Dechen Dolma, Kagyu Ling sangha members and international guests.
- Monday, 9 July, Harrogate/Yorkshire: His Holiness travelled to Kagyu Dechen Dzong, Harrogate, and bestowed the initiation of Milarepa, one of the founding fathers of the Karma Kagyu tradition.
- Tuesday, 10 July, Manchester: Karmapa gave a well attended public talk on the dharma at Central Hall which saw an extensive question and answer session following the conclusion of His Holiness's talk.
- Wednesday and Thursday, 10-11 July, Manchester: Karmapa bestowed the major anuttara empowerment of Gyalwa Gyamtso, one of the principal yidams of the Karma Kagyu tradition.
Karmapa´s Healthcare Project informed about the social activity on all 4 venues. KHCP could attract some new health professionals to join the project. Thanks to Lama Jampa Thaye and the Kagyu Ling sangha members.
