Karma Chokhor Dechen Ling / Nunnery Rumtek - Restoration Project
An earthquake some time ago damaged significant parts of the building. Normal life, such as cooking, eating together, and meditating, is severely restricted as a result. It is planned to reconstruct the building in coordination with H.H. Gyalwa Karmapa and Jigme Rinpoche and our friends in Switzerland.
Dec.14-21, 2024: For the 17th time this year, the KHCP - Karmapa´s Healthcare Project - provided free medical checkups and healthcare for participants in the Kagyu Monlam as well as the local population... KHCP team consisted of a total of 24 people, all of them voluntary helpers: general practitioners, dentists, physiotherapists, TTM practitioners, nurses, assistants, organisers and helpers.
