we had originally intended to celebrate KHCP’s 10th anniversary, share the story of how it all started with Karmapa back in Kalimpong and show you pictures of many activities – but that will have to wait…
2015 is the year of the earthquake. And, unfortunately, so are many of the years to come. Our people are in good health, they survived and immediatly started to help others. Our KHCP-medics have visited all the locations and the friends worldwide have donated about 170.000€ . These funds have either already reached it’s receipients or has been alloted...

Announcement: Medical camps at Dhagpo Sheydrub Ling Monastery and Sharminub Monastery, Kathmandu/Nepal, May 25 - June 8, 2015:
H.H.Karmapa Thaye Dorje will inaugurate Dhagpo Sheydrub Ling, the new monastery of Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche and then Karmapa will lead aspiration prayers for the swift return of Karma Kagyu lineage holder Shamar Rinpoche in Kathmandu. During this two weeks of ceremonies the KHCP-DHK will provide two grand medical camps at both places. Again like last year we expect to treat hundreds of people every day. Our team consist on medical professions from Kathmandu and Europe. But we are still looking for more medical helpers and volunteers. And of course every small donation is welcome to buy all the necessary medicaments.

Dear friends around the world, we thank you from our hearts for your overwhelming generosity. A total of about 170.000€ was accumulated, we are deeply grateful and have started to distribute the funds. These funds will be used for immediate measures to take care of more than 800 people connected with our monasteries, orphanage homes and the Dhulikhel Hospital in Nepal. Donation Account Listing...
Annual Report 2014:
...a medical camp for Shamarpa´s cremation in Kathmandu and offer help for thousands of people who paid their last respects to him... over the year there were further numerous medical and dental camps at our institutes, monasteries and schools in the Himalayas... Conforming with the wishes of Karmapa and Shamarpa, many "Western" friends were able to develop their social activity and help at KHCP's Mönlam medical camp last December. Almost 50 helpers from many nations treated more than 3000 people in just one week... In 2014 KHCP was proud to collect about 53.000 Euros...

12/2014: 7th KHCP-Medical Camp in Bodhgaya/India
The Kagyu Monlam 2014 took place between December 15 and 21, with thousands of devotees in attendance... For the 7th time this year, the KHCP - Karmapa´s Healthcare Project provided free medical checkups and healthcare for participants in the Monlam as well as the local population. Over 3,000 patients were treated by 40 voluntary helpers: physicians, dentists, physiotherapists, Tibetan medicine, acupuncturists, nurses, assistants, organisers and helpers...
