Karma Ngedhon Osal Choekhorling is a nunnery providing fooding and accomodation for 92 nuns.This nunnery is a little different from the other monastries. We really don´t have different subjects like the monastries. We concentrate only on Tibetan grammer and Tibetan teachings.

There are few nuns who speak good English and teach the nuns having interest.Recently, returned 5 nuns from Namdroling from India are the teachers who are teaching the nuns at present.When ever our root teacher is free,He often teaches us about the Real Buddhist Studies. He gives on Teachings and Initiations when ever we need them.

We are very thankful to Karmapa Healthcare Project for such a great help regarding the nuns as most of them come from very poor families and can´t afford to get proper check but now can get the yearly full check up with the money we receive from the KHCP through Peter and Pia. We recently had full blood and urine test. After six months we are planning to appoint a gyanologist as most of the nuns suffer alot during their manstruation time.
